Since 2010, GRASSP has been a vital part of our community, offering an exciting and unique after-school soccer program for your child. Here’s what you need to know:

Purpose of GRASSP

  • GRASSP helps students stay engaged in school and make the most of their education.
  • We provide weekly soccer training, seasonal tournaments, and valuable life lessons through our 10 core values.

What Makes GRASSP Unique

  • Volunteer-Based: GRASSP relies on volunteers for coaching, refereeing, and field support. This keeps soccer affordable and accessible for everyone.
  • School-Based: Each team represents a school, and training takes place immediately after school, fostering a strong school community.
  • Academic Enrichment: GRASSP is not a paid soccer program. We operate on a low budget, have no gear requirements, and exist solely to benefit students and their connection to school.

Weekly Training Sessions

  • Our training sessions include soccer-specific activities, drills, games, and scrimmage play.
  • Coaches also emphasize our 10 core values, helping students become better teammates and classmates, with lessons that extend beyond soccer.

Seasonal Tournaments

  • GRASSP believes in the power of soccer to unite communities.
  • Season-ending tournaments allow schools to celebrate progress in competition, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • We value healthy sportsmanship, respecting our volunteer referees and coaches. We encourage positive behavior from parents and players.

Tournament Format

  • GRASSP plays 9v9, Three games per tournament.
  • No Offsides, One Center Referee.
  • Opening Ceremony, Sportsmanship Review.
  • Closing Ceremony, Trophy Presentation.

Community Support
